Overview
This trip will take you to 5 different destinations in 12 days. Travel to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place where you can see Rhinos in the wild in Uganda. Enjoy a morning game drive in Buligi tracks before taking on a water safari to the bottom of the falls. Visit Kibale Forest NP where you will have a chance to meet our closest relatives, the Chimpanzees. Get on a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel, a waterway that separates Lake George from Lake Edward. Kazinga Channel has the highest concentration of Hippos in Uganda. You will then pass through Ishasha Plains as you transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP. The Ishasha Plains is famous for its tree climbing lions. In the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable forest, you will have an encounter with the rare mountain gorillas. You will be accompanied by Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guide on a trek that takes between 3-6 hours. On your way back to Kampala / Entebbe visit Lake Mburo NP, the smallest savannah park in Uganda.

Detailed Itinerary
After your early morning breakfast, you will meet our company driver who will drive you to Murchison Falls NP via Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch, home of the only white rhinos in Uganda. Head out with well-trained rangers to watch these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat on a walk that will take between 1 hour - 2 hours. After Rhino tracking you will have lunch at the restaurant before embarking on your journey to Murchison falls National Park. You will enter the park through Kichumbanyobo gate, which is the main entry gate to Murchison Falls National Park, and is accessed by travellers using a route in the Kaniyo Pabidi Forest from Masindi town. Kichumbanyobo gate is 85 km from Masindi town.

Morning game drive
After your morning breakfast, you will embark on a game in Buligi tracks. Morning game drives are so rewarding as you get a chance to see animals start their day. Game drives are mainly done on the Northern side of the park as it has large concentrations of animals. You will be joined by a well trained and knowledgeable Uganda Wildlife ranger guide. Watch out for animals like Lions, Leopards, Hyenas, Elephants, Crocodiles, Hippos, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Jackson's Hartebeests, Orbis, the Uganda Kob, Waterbucks, Bushbucks, Baboons, and Patas Monkeys. After the game drive, drive back to the Lodge for your lunch.
Water safari
After lunch, embark on a water safari to the bottom of the Falls. The boat cruise takes you to the bottom of the Murchison falls along the Victoria Nile. The cruise to the bottom of the falls starts from Paraa jetty on the Southern bank and will last for 3 hours. While on the launch trip you will have an opportunity of viewing a wide range of wildlife animals such as hippos, herds of elephants showering on the river bank, warthogs, crocodiles and beautiful water birds.
Hike to the top of the falls
The guided hike to the top of the falls takes about 45-minutes. While on this hike you will have a great time watching rolling hills, vegetation types, bird species, and you will keep hearing the thunderous roars of the falls. At the top of the Falls, the Nile squeezes through an 8m wide gorge and plunges with a thunderous roar into the “Devil’s Cauldron”, creating a trademark rainbow.

This morning you will check out of the hotel and transfer to Kibale Forest NP. This exciting journey involves enjoying the jaw-dropping views of the lush tea plantations and a stopover in Fort Portal for lunch.

After your breakfast, you will be transferred to Kanyanchu for a briefing about the dos and don'ts of the activity. This is the most popular park for Chimpanzee tracking and you will have excellent chances of seeing our closest relatives in their natural habitat. The chimpanzee groups have been habituated and are therefore accustomed to human presence - some have been observed for over 25 years. The activity may last for 3-4 hours depending on the movement of the group you are trekking. The walk will reward you with other primates like Grey cheeked Mangabeys, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys among others. After chimpanzee tracking transfer back to the lodge for rest and lunch.
After having lunch, you will be transferred to Bigodi Swamp for the Magombe swamp walk. A 4.5km long walk will take you through this important wildlife corridor of Kibale Forest and will take up to 3h. The wetland is home to 8 species of primates, including the Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, L’hoest Monkey, Vervet Monkey and the Blue Monkey.

After a relaxed breakfast, transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National park. You will visit the exploration crater lakes before heading to your accommodation for the overnight.

After early morning breakfast, embark on a game drive in Kasenyi Plains. You will spot a number of animals including African elephant, African buffalo, Ugandan kob, hippopotamus, topi, waterbuck, warthog, giant forest hog, Nile crocodile, leopard, spotted hyena, chimpanzee and lion.
In the afternoon, you will embark on a water safari on Kazinga Channel, a waterway that connects Lake George to Lake Edward. The channel is famous for one of the largest concentrations of Hippos and Nile Crocodiles around the world. Watch out for herds of Elephants and buffaloes that come to drink water.

This morning, you will enjoy another morning game drive in Kasenyi Plains to look out for animals that you missed the previous day. After the morning game drive, check in at your lodge where you will have lunch and rest.
In the afternoon, you will embark on another game drive in the Ishasha Plains for the tree climbing lions. They climb to the top of the fig and acacia trees, to escape the heat from the ground and also get uninterrupted rest while also monitoring their territories for prey.
After the game drive you will be driven to your accommodation in Ishasha Sector.

This morning you will engage in a community tour where you will be able to interact with the locals who live in the nearby areas. Learn about the local people’s culture and tradition, visit their homesteads, learn about their way of living, taste their local dishes, and enjoy their traditional entertainments.
After visiting the local communities in Ishasha Plains, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP.

After breakfast, you will move to the starting point for your briefing. Uganda is home to more than half of the total population of the rare mountain gorillas of which three quarters live in Bwindi. This makes Uganda one of the only three countries in the world where mountain gorilla trekking is conducted. On a trek that takes 3-8 hours, you will walk through muddy and steep slopes within the park before meeting any gorilla group. Once you have found the gorillas, you will be able to spend up to one hour with them.
Should you have some extra energy after the trek, you can decide to visit the Batwa community or relaxed no at the lodge.

This morning you will be transferred to Lake Mburo NP, the smallest savannah park in Uganda. Lake Mburo is the only park in Uganda where you can find Impalas. It is also home to the last Ugandan population of eland, the largest African antelope. Sit back and relax as you pass through the scenic plains and rolling terraced hills of Kigezi highlands before reaching Lake Mburo NP.
You will arrive in time for relaxation.
After dinner you will embark on a night game drive in Lake Mburo NP. The night game drive will give you the best chance of finding bush pigs, genet cats, white tailed mongoose leopards, and spotted hyenas. Watch out for one male lion that resides in the park by itself.
Dinner and overnight at a booked lodge.
After your breakfast, embark on a morning game drive. The Park is home to over 350 bird species and is well known for the impalas though it has a vast population of other animal species like zebras, elands, buffalos, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi and reedbuck.
After the game drive, return to your lodge for lunch and rest.
In the afternoon, you will go for a water safari on lake Mburo. Watch out for large schools of Hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and other animals that come to drink water along the shores.

After a relaxed breakfast, you will be transferred to Kampala / Entebbe at your preferred dropoff point.
